ABOUT ME

Holger Much (Generation X) was born in Berlin-Tiergarten and grew up in Kreuzberg. He currently lives in Tempelhof and works as a freelance photojournalist and photo designer, primarily for photo agencies and clients in the business and media sectors.
Behind the Lens
Even as a young boy, he loved using his father’s camera. This sparked his passion for photography, which, however, had to wait a long time before he could fully pursue it. Only after completing a commercial apprenticeship and gaining several years of professional experience did he decide to turn his passion into a career. As a self-taught photographer, he learned techniques over the years, mastering everything one needs to know and understand about composition and visual language, only to then subvert them again.
The vibrant metropolis of Berlin, where multicultural life unfolds right on his doorstep, has now become an even more integral part of his life.

Sometimes I try new things: racing, etc. – not perfect at first, but improvable. But we are here to learn.
